Bach Violin Concerto in A minor in Iceland - Review from 'Visir'
Jonas Sen September 21st, 2013

"The soloist was Johnny Gandelsman who played with rarely heard beauty. His playing was modest but sincere, clear and very well balanced. The orchestra was secure in its playing; the result was indeed very pleasant. The encore was a slow movement from a solo sonata by Bach. No fireworks, no pretense. Gandelsman played with transparent insight. The overall effect was one of honesty without pretense; extremely charming."
